ClipCraft · Reels Maker

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy explains what ClipCraft: Reels Maker (“ClipCraft”, “the app”, “we”) does with information when you use it. It is written to be read, not to be survived. Please read it to the end — the Accept button at the bottom only becomes available once you have.

The short version

Your creative work — scripts, ideas, shot lists, hashtag sets, audits and performance logs — is stored on your device. We do not ask for an account. We do not sell data. The camera, microphone and photo library are only opened when you tap a tool that needs them.

1. Who is responsible

ClipCraft is published by the operator of this application (“the Provider”). If you need to reach us about anything in this policy, use the contact route on our support page.

2. Information stored on your device

The following stays in the app’s local storage on your phone or tablet and is not transmitted to us:

Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no cloud copy for us to hand back, and no way for us to restore it.

3. Information handled by our servers

The app contacts our servers for a small number of purposes:

PurposeWhat is involved
Loading this policy and the support pageA standard web request. Your device’s IP address and user agent are visible to the server, as with any website.
Sending a support messageOnly when you write one and tap Send. We receive the text you typed, the reply address you chose to give (optional), your app version, device model, iOS version and the screen name you were on.

That is the complete list. We do not upload your scripts, ideas, shot lists, audits, performance logs, recordings, photos, edited reels or handle to any server. The lesson library, hooks, recipes and tools all run entirely on your device.

4. Device permissions

Camera and microphone

Requested only when you open the Reel Recorder. Used to show a live preview with framing guides and to record a clip you initiate. Nothing is recorded in the background, and no recording is uploaded anywhere.

Photo library

Requested only when you use the Safe Zones previewer or the Cover Composer. Used to read the item you pick and, when you tap Export, to save a new image back. We do not scan or index your library.

Notifications

Optional. Used for the daily hook, mission nudges, streak reminders and posting-window alerts you schedule. They are generated on your device. Turn them off in the app or in system settings at any time.

5. Children

ClipCraft is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us through the support page.

6. Third parties

ClipCraft does not include advertising networks and does not sell or share personal data with data brokers. If the app links out to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or any other service, that service’s own terms and privacy policy apply once you leave ClipCraft. We have no control over what they collect.

7. Your rights

Because we do not hold an account for you, the fastest way to exercise deletion is inside the app: Settings contains a “Clear my data” action that wipes everything ClipCraft has stored on the device. If you are in a jurisdiction granting rights of access, rectification, portability, restriction or objection over any server-side data, contact us and we will respond within the period your law requires.

8. Security

Network requests use encrypted connections. Local data is protected by your device’s own storage protection and passcode. No system is perfect, and you should keep your device locked and updated.

9. Results, reach and earnings

Read this part carefully

ClipCraft teaches craft. It does not deliver results. We are not responsible, and accept no liability, for how your content performs. Specifically:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding outcomes, and shall not be liable for any lost profits, lost opportunities, lost audience, reputational harm or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Availability

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features that depend on a network connection may be unavailable at times. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the app.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will update the version and date at the top of this page, and the app may ask you to accept the revised policy. Continuing to use ClipCraft after a change means you accept it.

12. Contact

Questions, corrections and deletion requests all go through the ClipCraft support page.

By tapping Accept you confirm that you have read this policy, that you understand ClipCraft makes no promise about how your content will perform, and that you agree to the terms above.

You have reached the end of the policy.
